Terms & Conditions
1. Use of tilers-world
This website, www.tilers-world.com, henceforth referred to as the site, is provided to you free of charge for personal use, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
By using the site you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Privacy & Status
We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy, found here.
We will record your personal details for the purpose of processing your order, and for a reasonable period after your order is completed as required for audit and record keeping purposes.
By using this site, you consent to such processing, and confirm that the information you provide is complete and accurate.
By placing an order, you also represent and warrant to us that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract, that you are at least 18 years old, that you are resident in the mainland UK and that you are accessing our site from the UK.
3. Ordering Products
We must receive payment for the entire order, and said payment must be in good standing, before your order can be processed.
Once payment is received and verified, we will then confirm that the products are available, and in cases where products are unavailable you will be given the option to cancel your order with no additional charges.
Once all products are confirmed to be available, orders will either have a delivery organised or be sent out for courier delivery, in accordance with our shipping information found here.
We are not liable for any damages as a result of incorrect stock reporting on the site, for damages as a result of failed deliveries, for damages as a result of products being damaged in-transit, any scenario in which you do not receive products on an agreed date, or misuse of products.
We will not intentionally substitute any product on an order unless:
- It is an equivalent product and we have confirmed with the manufacturer that this is the case
- It is an identical product in different packaging
- You have requested a replacement product after being informed your desired product is out of stock
Any orders placed with us through a third party are subject to the terms of that third party, and the contract is between yourself and that third party. We are not liable for such orders.
4. Damages
All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery in order for us to claim those damages from our suppliers or couriers.
If damages are reported within 48 hours, you may either receive a refund for the damaged products or request replacements to be sent out free of charge.
If damages are not reported within 48 hours, we reserve the right to refuse returns as we cannot confirm that the products arrived damaged.
5. Cancellation and Returns
If your order has not been sent out for delivery, and is not a "Single Delivery" as outlined in shipping information, you can cancel your order at any time for a full refund.
If your order is a "Single Delivery", you can cancel your order at any time, but we may deduct compensation for costs accrued due to the nature of these deliveries.
If your order has been sent out, you can return the products and will be charged for a second delivery and in some cases we will also charge for restocking.
If you have received your order, you can return the products within 14 days and will be charged for a second delivery and usually a charge for restocking.
If products on your order are perishable or have storage requirements (such as powdered products) and you have received them, these products are non-returnable and will not be refunded.
We reserve the right to cancel your order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Products being discontinued
- Orders being delivered to addresses we do not deliver to
- Orders where we cannot contact you to arrange delivery
- More than one of a specific sample is ordered
- Multiple orders to avoid higher delivery charges
- Product information, product pricing, or delivery charges being substantially incorrect
If we choose to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
6. Tile and Mosaic Samples
We offer tile and mosaic samples for select products. These samples are to be used to check how the product will appear when used, and are not intended to be used as if they were the full product.
Samples may not be of the full tile, and are instead a cut piece of the tile or mosaic.
Damaged samples are still fit for purpose unless the damage is extreme, and will not be replaced or refunded.
Samples are considered a special order and cannot be returned.
7. Special Orders
In some cases, orders will be considered a special order and some sections will not apply to them.
Orders are considered special orders in cases including, but not limited to:
- Products are only available outside of the UK
- Products are discontinued, but stock is still available
- Products are ordered that are not listed on our site
In cases where an order is a special order, with the exception of samples, you will be informed that the order is a special order.
Special orders have the following limitations:
- A special order cannot be cancelled once paid for, unless you have received the order and a large portion of the order is damaged
- A special order cannot be returned, unless we offer you the option to do so
- A special order may not have replacements available, in which case the only option for damages will be a full or partial refund
8. Our Liability
We will only provide products in accordance with what is shown on our site, that are not out of date, and are of high quality.
If we are not informed of damages or other defects within 48 hours of the date of delivery, we are not responsible as it is not possible to confirm that the products were not damaged after delivery.
We are not always informed when deliveries do not happen, we are not reponsible for any delays in remedying this if you do not inform us that a delivery did not happen.
